January 1, 2006 Mumbai, India Hey everyone, if you're reading this you've found the official "Bombay Project" Website. Our production is in full swing as is this website. We are on our 9th day of production and have filmed various scenes at the Mumbai Domestic Airport and other locations around the city. We have met some wonderful people here who are dedicated to this project. It is 7:40 PM now on Monday of the New Year. We went to a posh club for New Years and had a blast, a nice vacation from our demanding schedule. Pictures of this night and other production stills will can be found under gallery. -Dwight, AD
January 18, 2006 Sudbury, MA Dave and I completed photography of 2 more scenes in the U.S. the roomate scene and the teacher scene. We now take on the arduous task of editing the over 40 hours of raw footage. Dave and I have decided to edit seperate copies and compare at the end. Check the gallery link as new photographs have been posted. The photos were taken by Adam T., one of our lighting technicians and a very talented photographer. Thanks Adam. That's all for now. -Dwight, AD
January 30, 2006 Syracuse, NY This Thursday (Feb 2nd) I will be travelling via bus to Connecticut College to film 3 final scenes for principle photography of the project. Maya is also travelling from NYC, arriving on Friday. In addition to the mini feature, the final DVD will now contain a "making of" documentary of our amazing experience in India. Also, keep your eyes open for a trailer on this sight in the next few weeks! -Dwight, AD
February 7, 2006 Syracuse, NY I returned to Syracuse early Monday morning (2:30 AM) after a succesful weekend filming at Connecticut College. We completed 3 final scenes as well as interviews for the documentary portion of the DVD. Dave has already begun capturing the hours of A-Camera footage and will begin editing in the next few weeks. I will begin the documentary as well as a trailer soon. Keep checking back here for updates! Also, expect a new more "professional" look for this website soon. -Dwight, AD.
February 15, 2006 Syracuse, NY Happy Birthday to my sister Molly who is now 19 years old! Dave has informed me he estimates finishing capturing the movie footage by the end of February and will then begin editing. I've also begun capturing initial footage for the documentary portion as well as the trailer. Please join the facebook group The Bombay Project to show further support. -Dwight, AD
April 4, 2006 Syracuse, NY As you can see the website is slowly taking on a new and improved look. I have completed editing the trailers and the longer of the two is up on the site for viewing. There is also a discussion forum for people to post comments and questions! Enjoy and please post some feedback. As for post production, Dave has been rigorously working on editing the final piece. He has completed rough cuts of about half of the scenes and they look great. We are on schedule to have the final print by early next month, with a premier sometime in May. I would like to thank Dave "Hubbles" for his webmaster skills and his continual "pimping" of this site.
